Project Limits B-56-24,25,30,31,37-40,42- 45,49,50 Purpose And Need : 1014-00-38 - These bridges were built in 1960-1961 and many had new decks or superstructures in 1990-1991.The existing decks are cracked and several have other surface defects such as spalling. Current NBI deck ratings are all sixes or sevens. 1016-01-34 - All six bridges were built in 1964 and all have received new decks or new superstructures as part of past projects. Various elements have deteriorated to the point of needing repair or replacement such as approach slabs or expansion joints. Project Description : 1014-00-38 - Place polymer deck overlays on all bridges to preserve their condition and extend the service life. Minor deck, parapet, or other structural repairs may also be needed. 1016-01-34 - Repair or replace approach slabs, expansion joints, bearings or other elements on each bridge as needed. Advertised Fixed Fee % 7.25 Fixed Fee Notification : The fixed fee for this contract will apply an indirect cost factor of 150% to the consultant's estimated direct labor, regardless of the consultant's actual indirect rate.
