Scope of Work This portion of the work includes 3m slope end removal from each existing culverts ends and extending the culvert with a 1600 mm diameter CSP culvert. Without limiting the provisions of these specifications and contract, the scope of work shall include, but is not limited to the following: - Excavation - CSP - Supply - CSP - Assembly - Backfill - Heavy Rock Riprap (Class 1) - Erosion Control barrier (Silt Fence) - Miscellaneous Environmental Work The Contractor shall estimate and confirm quantities as necessary. If there are quantity discrepancies the Contractor shall advise of these during the tendering phase. The Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining the right-of-way easements if any construction is to occur outside the existing right-of-way and shall, prior to the commencement of any construction period, provide a copy of the easement agreement for the Consultant's review. The tables provided below illustrate the bridge file culvert locations, type, diameter, and length to be removed and disposed, supplied and installed. All locations and length of new CSP structure to be verified with the Consultant prior to commencement of the work including the ordering of materials. Scope The Work associated with this Contract includes the construction of a new lighting system as shown in the Contract Drawings. The general scope of work is as follows: - Supply and installation of galvanized steel single davit poles complete with concrete bases, frangible bases and luminaires - Supply and installation of power distribution cabinet - Supply and installation of underground cable systems for all light standards including any required conduit or junction boxes Highway lighting and signals work shall be carried out as shown on the Drawings and in accordance with section "2.25 Highway Street Lighting", "2.26 Traffic Signals" ,"2.7 Underground Electrical Conduits" of the "Standard Specifications for Highway Construction", latest edition, as well as the "Highway Lighting Guide".
