The extent of work on this project is the furnishing of all labor, equipment, and materials for the construction of improvements in Lewis, Iowa generally described as follows: Construction of improvements to the City’s water distribution and treatment system including approximately 3,568 LF of water main replacement, replacement of water hydrants and valves, pavement and surface restoration, replacement of the existing ion exchange water treatment facility equipment, electrical and controls, rehabilitation of the existing water treatment building roof, new emergency generator and transfer switch, new water meter pit, including all associated appurtenances together with related subsidiary and incidental Work. The project shall be constructed under one prime contract
