Description

Renovation of a mixed-use development in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 700,000-square-foot transportation facility.

Construction of a new 700,000-square-foot terminal that will include operation spaces, passenger areas, ticketing, baggage claim, meet-and-greet area, security checkpoint and concessions. Plans also include a new multi-modal complex with parking and transportation infrastructure with new roadways and multi-level parking garage. The Construction Manager has been selected and will be releasing bids in separate packages. Construction of the total project began with site prep in April 2021. An official groundbreaking then took place in October 14, 2021 with heavy and vertical construction starting after in late 2021. Construction is expected to be complete with the opening of the new facility in early 2025.
