The City of Richland Center will receive sealed bids on a Single Prime Contract for the Richland Center New Aquatics Facility project located at 1055 N. Orange Street, Richland Center, Wisconsin 53581, for: The construction of a new aquatics facility which will include a Bathhouse, Equipment Building, and Aquatics facilities. Work will include demolition of existing bathhouse and aquatics facilities. The Bathhouse is a 4,346 sf masonry shell building with masonry and wood stud framed interior walls. Roof construction is preengineered wood truss with stone clad metal shingles. Exterior finishes are masonry with engineered wood fascia and metal soffits. The Equipment Building is a 1,178 sf wood frame building with pre-engineered wood trusses and asphaltic shingle roof. The building has wood frame interior walls, combination concrete plank and steel grate flooring and partial equipment basement. Exterior finishes are primarily ribbed metal panel and brick wainscot to match adjacent facility. Footings and foundations on both buildings are concrete frost and basement wall construction with concrete slab on grade. The buildings are unheated and unconditioned to be used seasonally. Aquatic facilities will include a zero entry pool basin combined with a recreation and diving pool basin and a lazy river. Features will include water slides with related stair tower structure, splash pad area, lounge deck and grill area. Site amenities include chain link fencing, fixed bench seating, sail shade structures and commercial size fixed umbrellas. BID AWARD: Contract Award - Anticipated October 18, 2018, or within 20 days of bid opening CONSTRUCTION START: After Notice to Proceed, Anticipated Monday October 22, 2018. CONSTRUCTION TERM: 214 calendar days. Project is subject to Liquidated Damages. GENERAL BID INFORMATION AND REQUIREMENTS: Late Bids will not be accepted.
