Site work and new construction of a conference / convention center in Fulton, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a conference / convention center.
As of April 8, 2019, a construction manager has been selected. **Closed solicitation for Construction-Manager-at-risk is included below for reference only.** Construction Manager-at-Risk for the construction of the Paws and Taws Event Center. The Project will consist of the construction of a new 10,000 square foot Paws and Taws Fulton Event Center to replace the center that was severely damaged during Hurricane Harvey in August of 2017. The new center will consist of 10,000 sq. ft., including a 7,000 sq. ft. main hall, and 3,000 sq. ft. of support areas. A 936 sq. ft. covered porch and a 588 sq. ft. carport are included in the Project. Site work includes the building pad, new handicap parking and driveway at the carport. The majority of the paved parking area remains from the original event center and does not need replacement, but the paving will need to be sealed. The building will be a concrete slab on grade and foundation with a pre-engineered metal building structure. 100% payment and performance bonds will be required.
