The Work is generally described as replacement of the City of Bradenton''s Lift Station No. 5. The work includes, but is not limited to, converting the existing wet well/dry well lift station to a submersible lift station by constructing a new wet well and extending the gravity sewer to the new wet well, and equipping the wet well with two submersible pumps, pump bases, guide rails, submersible level transmitter, backup float switches, and riser pipes. Also, construct above grade piping with check valves, plug valves, bypass connection, and air release valve. Furnish and install a new control panel with pump controls, including electrical, instrumentation, and communication with SCADA. Relocate the existing generator, fuel tank, and automatic transfer switch. The existing wet well, dry well, and building shell will be demolished. All work shall be in accordance with the construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents. Only prospective bidders on the Engineer''s plan holders list may submit a bid. The electronic documents provided with each purchased set are not considered the official Bidding and Contract Documents. Due to variations in printer drivers, the Engineer makes no representation regarding the accuracy or completeness of any reproduction or print created from the electronic files provided.
