Demolition, site work and new construction of an educational facility in Candiac, Quebec. Working plans call for site work for a educational facility; educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; and for the construction of a 70,000-square-foot, two-story above grade, one-story below grade, 39-room educational facility.
Replacement with enlargement of the elementary school building. The scope of the project includes demolition and reconstruction of the school that will house one pre-school education and 36 elementary education classrooms, a double gymnasium, a library and related premises. TIMELINE: The project was put on hold pending approvals and funding by the Quebec Minstry of Education at the stage of working drawings. Timelines of the project development are not determined. Further update in early/mid-2026. Note. The scope of the project initially including construction of an addition was changed and includes now the demolition of the existing structure and construction of a new building.
