Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a transportation facility in Kalispell, Montana. Completed plans call for the addition of a transportation facility.
As of March 2021, the construction manager is releasing bid packages for this project. Interested parties should contact the construction manager. Construction is anticipated to start in the late summer 2021. An approximate 123,000 sf expansion. A joint-venture construction management team has been identified. Estimated maximum project budget is $97 million. During pre-construction, the contractor will assist the Owner and Architect/Engineers in development of the schematic design, design development and construction documents. Construction cost estimates and creative scheduling are a critical deliverable by the GC/CM. Services include recommendations regarding building construction components, construction type, HVAC and electrical systems, associated and adjusted infrastructure, scheduling, phasing, value engineering, and other associated services. The FMAA reserves the right to reject any or all submissions and to waive any and all irregularities or informalities as defined by FMAA. *This project is on hold due to the public health crisis. A new timeline has not been established.
