Site work and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Boston, Massachusetts. Design plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for the construction of a bridge / tunnel.
The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority is soliciting an Owner's Representative for the North Station Draw 1 Bridge Replacement project. The Scope of Service(s) may include but are not limited to program management (PM), design phase services, and construction phase services. The conceptual level construction cost estimate for the proposed improvements is $800,000,000. The duration of this contract is eight (8) years from Notice to Proceed with the possibility to extend the contract for two periods of one (1) year each. This project is expected to utilize Federal funding. The DBE participation goal for this project is twenty-two percent (22%) of the total amount authorized. In addition, the Authority strongly encourages the use of Minority, Women, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises as prime consultants, sub-consultants, and suppliers in all its contracting opportunities. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
