The objective of the project is to improve reliability of the pump station to meet regulatory requirements by providing back-up power, back-up mechanical equipment, and ventilation improvements. The work is to be performed in San Francisco, California. The Contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder. There will be no bid discounts for this contract. The LBE Subcontracting Participation Requirement is 15.00% and ONLY San Francisco (Local) Small & Micro-LBEs can be utilized to meet this requirement (Firms certified by SF Contract Monitoring Division). SFPUC-LBEs cannot be utilized to meet the 15.00% LBE Subcontracting Participation Requirement. The 15% requirement has been established in consideration of the project scope of work, which involves furnishing and installation of specialized mechanical and electrical equipment.
