Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Middletown, Rhode Island. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Shoreline Park - Development of linear park along Burma Rd.and the shoreline, to include a fishing pier to be developed in conjunction with RIDEM, parking, trails, picnic areas, and restrooms. The project will be developed in phases with a mix of local, state, and grant funds. Shoreline Park will be linear, running for approximately one mile north to south along the Narragansett Bay shoreline, and including approximately 25 acres of land. The park will include development of a fishing pier, kayak/canoe launch, trails, picnic areas, parking and restrooms. The fishing pier will be developed in cooperation with the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management using the remains of the former Midway fueling pier. RIDEM funds will be used to construct the pier and associated improvements, such as parking and restrooms. This will be one of four nodes of activity in the park, and its centerpiece. As of March 08, 2022, this project is currently in the FY 2022-2026 CIP . Funding for this project is allotted in the city's capital improvement plan for construction Fy 2023. A firm timeline has not been established; however, construction is scheduled for Fiscal Year 2023. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
