The development of an outdoor courtyard in the heart of the building is also part of the program. The Knowledge Crossroads is a place of documentation, studies and exchange. The collection of information, training and education in the digital age guided its design. With a resolutely contemporary architectural style integrating several principles of sustainable design, the building aims for increased energy performance by integrating renewable energy systems as well as by using new technologies. At a height of two floors above ground, the building will be welcoming, healthy and open to its external environment.
