Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Scottsboro, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Goose Pond Colony Boat Launch Expansion The project consists of expanding the existing three (3) lane boat ramp to eight (8) lanes, installing new floating docks and fixed piers, and various other site improvements. A cashiers check drawn on an Alabama bank or a Bidder's Bond, payable to the City of Scottsboro for an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid, but in no event more than ten thousand dollars, shall be filed with the bid. The bidders' bond shall be prepared on the form specified and signed by a bonding company authorized to do business in the State of Alabama. Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds, proof of insurance, and a complete list of subcontractors and suppliers will be required prior to the signing of the Contract. A Performance Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract cost and Labor and Material Payment Bond in an amount of one hundred (100%) of the contract cost in the form and terms approved by the City of Scottsboro will be required at the signing of the contract. The right is reserved to reject any and/or all bids and to waive informalities and to furnish any item of material or work to change the amount of said Contract.
