Demolition, site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Ottawa, Ontario. Conceptual plans call for the demolition of a parking garage; for the construction of a municipal facility; clubhouse / community center; and retail development.

Construction of a new destination building to replace the current 4-storey city owned parking garage. The site is approximately 5,700 m2. TIMELINE: A Request for Expressions of Interest (REOI) has been issued by the owner to redevelop a City-owned property in ByWard Market. The goal of the Request for Expressions of Interest (REOI) was to generate inspiring redevelopment concepts, assess the timing of the initiative, gauge the interest and viability of potential partners. At the June 6, 2023 Finance and Corporate Services Committee, it was announced that the city has hired Colliers Project Leaders to provide guidance on next steps. A report to be brought to council fall/late 2023. Updates may be available spring 2024. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
