The East Park Drainage Management Improvement Project is a partnership with the Flood Control District of Maricopa County providing regional drainage and flood control elements connecting with existing drainage infrastructure west of Crismon Road along Queen Creek Road to existing future improvements east of Signal Butte Road. As of October 14, 2022, this is in final planning stages. A bid for a general contractor is anticipated for Q4 2022. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change. The content management team will continue to pursue additional details as they become available. Closed solicitation has been included below for reference. ................. Town of Queen Creek, Arizona will receive sealed Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Design Services for East Park The Town desires to design and construct a 91 acre park at Maricopa County Assessor's Parcels 304-63-010P, 304-63-010N, and 304-63-010R in the of Town of Queen Creek. The proposed park site will be multifunctional and will contain a regional drainage detention basin. The basin is expected to detain up to approximately 120 ac-ft of upstream runoff in addition to the adjacent offsite improved rights-of-way streets and onsite requirements. Inlet and outlet works as well as onsite conveyance channels and features along with the basin will be included in the project design and function. Multiple runoff source locations will be involved with an outlet works in the southwest corner of the overall site. Certain park amenities will need to adequately handle periodic inundation by drainage runoff waters. Each Submittal shall be in accordance with specifications and instructions contained therein. The Town of Queen Creek reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive informalities. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time
