As of January 28, 2020, construction is underway and began in October 2019. Construction is anticipated to be complete in September 2020. Each Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond and/or irrevocable letter of credit or a certified check and/or cashier's check delivered by bid receipt time, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount of the Bid. Bid Bonds must be uploaded in the Electronic Bidding Process and must be submitted electronically with the Bid. Irrevocable Letters of Credit, certified check and/or cashier's check must be hand-delivered to the Office of the City Clerk, 2nd Floor, Municipal Building, 200 N. Walker Avenue, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73102, in a sealed envelope with notations including the Bidder's name, the project number and "Bid Security," prior to Bid Time. For the purposes of this section, Bid shall mean the highest combination of the base bid plus all add/deduct alternate bids. The Bid Security is a guaranty that the Bidder will enter into a Contract with the City on the terms stated in the Bid and will furnish bonds covering the faithful performance of the Contract and payment of all obligations arising thereunder. Should the Bidder refuse to enter into such Contract or fail to furnish such bonds as required and/or the required certificates of insurance and other required documents, the amount of the Bid Security shall be forfeited to the City as liquidated damages, not as a penalty.Additional information is contained in the Bidding Documents.
