Construction of LEED Silver Certified facility on 20-acre park; includes three baseball fields, one soccer field, walkways, playground, two pavilions, and an 8,000 sq. ft. Community Center. Phase 1 of the project that included the construction of all earth work, all underground utilities, drainage, parking lot paving, walkways and fencing around the park has been complete since early 2009. Phase 2 of the project included construction of an 8,000 sq. ft. Community Center, two basketball courts, one soccer/football field, one bathroom building, playground, and associated lighting, landscaping and irrigation in June 2012. The Phase 3 of the work includes the construction of one soccer/football field, additional parking, three pavilions, monument sign, splash pads and associated improvements. Phase 4 would consist of installing LED Soccer Field Lighting as well as Security Lighting throughout the park. The project would also include extending irrigation throughout the park grounds that are not currently irrigated, as well as, installing artificial turf at new lighting area. As of February 24, 2023, this project is currently in the FY 2023-2027 CIP . Funding for this project is allotted in the city's capital improvement plan for construction Fy 2024. A firm timeline has not been established; however, construction is scheduled for Fiscal Year 2024. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
