Renovation of an educational facility in Westerville, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a primary / secondary education facility.
Plans call to renovate the existing school. A detailed scope of work has not been released. As of December 23, 2020, the project is in design development. An architect has been selected. A general contractor will be selected by public bid, and the project is tentatively scheduled to bid in Spring 2021. Construction is anticipated to begin in Summer 2021. Westerville City Schools-South HS Renovations Phase 3- Bids are due by noon on Thursday, 5/27/21 at Westerville City Schools District offices at 936 Eastwind Drive in Westerville. Please get bids in early. Any bids turned in after the deadline (By the Owner’s Clock) will be immediately returned unopened. Make sure to acknowledge the 3 Addenda on the Bid Form. Please note the Bid formed was revised as part of Addendum 3-use the correct bid form. Include Bid Form and Bid guaranty with your bid and sign your bid form. Include the Contingency and quantity allowances in your Base Bid. Alternate 1.8 was added as a voluntary alternate for a different Substantial Completion Date. This alternate does not have to be bid. All other alternates do need to be bid. The deadline for issuing addenda has now passed and therefore we cannot answer any questions that would change bidding requirements. If you discover a perceived conflict, error or omission you are required to bid the greater quantity or quality. Thanks and good luck.
