Site work for a water / sewer project in Monroe, North Carolina. Working plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

All interested bidders are encouraged to mail/ship bid submittals to the address listed above by the scheduled due date and time. Late bids will not be accepted. If you are unable to mail/ship your bid package prior to the bid due date deadline and must deliver in person, we request you contact Cheryl Wright, the procurement representative, at cheryl.wright@unioncountync.gov at least 24 hours prior to the bid due date to schedule a drop-off during regular business hours (Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm). The Project consists of constructing approximately 5,420 linear feet of cured-in-place pipe lining for existing 16-inch DIP force main, epoxy lining of four sanitary sewer manholes, and associated surface restoration. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis. Upon request and receipt of the document deposit indicated above, the Issuing Office will transmit the Bidding Documents via delivery service. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidders date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted in writing to the Procurement contact person listed on the cover page (cheryl.wright@unioncountync.gov). Deadline for questions is 5pm on June 23, 2020. Bidders must have a license to do work as a general contractor in the State of North Carolina, as set forth under Article 1 of Chapter 87 of the North Carolina General Statutes. The Contractors North Carolina License number shall be designated on the outside of the envelope containing the bid. Bidders are required to comply with the non-collusion requirements set forth in the Bidding Documents. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Union County reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
