As of February 11, 2021, this project is in the design/build phase. A general contractor has been awarded. Construction could commence July 2021. Renovation to include foundation and partial roof replacement, refresh of interior/exterior finishes, and upgrade MEP and security equipment. The scope of this 42,358 sf, one-story building renovation project will consist of design and construction for a roof replacement, foundation repair, refresh of interior finishes, refresh of exterior finishes and site improvements, ductwork cleaning, test and balancing of MEP equipment and addition of electrical outlets. As part of the foundation repair, include a structural assessment to determine the cause for interior slab distress that has led to the cracking of some interior partitions and isolated sloping of areas of the floor slab. The findings will inform recommendations to the City by the Contractor for repairs to be incorporated into the project scope. The Project will also include the installation of generator quick-connects for an existing manual transfer switch. Facility programs will need to be temporarily relocated within the facility. Phasing and moving services should be included as necessary to accommodate the repairs and renovation. The facility is to remain occupied during the renovation. All construction will need to be compliant with all jurisdictional requirements as necessary.
