Construction of the Hinckley Elevated Water Storage Tank Rehabilitation improvements, which consists of furnishing all labor, machinery, tools, rigging, brushes, material, equipment, bonds and insurance necessary to clean, spot abrasive blast, and paint the interior and exterior of a 300,000 gallon elevated tank. The work also includes disinfection and sampling as required to place the elevated tank back in service The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined at the following location: Engineering Enterprises, Inc. 52 Wheeler Road Sugar Grove, Illinois 60554 A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of The Village of Hinckley, negotiable U.S. Government bond (at par value) or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Bid shall be submitted with each Bid.Attention is called to the fact that not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Contract Documents must be paid on this project, and that the Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. The Village of Hinckley reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding.Bids may be held by the Village of Hinckley for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the opening of Bids for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding of the Contract.
