Project includes Bagby/West Dallas: Roadway reconstruction from Franklin to the West Dallas curve, including removal and replacement of roadway paving (involves reduction in traffic lanes), sidewalk with decorative pavers, cycle track at sidewalk level with decorative pavers, curbs, and driveways; mill and overlay and surface improvements from the West Dallas curve to Clay; partial bridge deck replacement from north of Prairie to south of Texas; on-structure, decorative paver sidewalk and cycle track improvements from south of Texas to north of Capitol; installation of landscaping features and irrigation system; installation of street, tree, and structure lighting; new traffic signals; storm sewer, water line, and sanitary sewer improvements; overhead electrical to underground conversion on Dallas west of Bagby; and installation of concrete panel decking system at Sam Houston Park. McKinney: Concrete panel replacement; installation of parallel parking bay; and installation of raised pedestrian crossing and associated storm sewer improvements. Walker: Roadway reconstruction, including removal and replacement of roadway paving and curbs and installation of a raised pedestrian crossing; stair entrance modifications to accommodate ramp access; installation of street lighting; and storm sewer and water line improvements.
