The previous solicitation is included below for reference: In order to participate you must submit your Statement of Qualifications electronically through this eBid system. No paper submissions will be accepted. The University of Nebraska intends to procure a qualified contractor to provide pre-construction services and construction services as the Construction Manager at Risk (CMR) for the Durham Science Center Renovation, NU FPC Project 12439. The estimated construction cost for the CMR GMP is $22,567,000. The total estimated construction budget including the GMP, in-house construction services, and the Owner's contingency is $25,665,000. The University of Nebraska at Omaha proposes to renovate the 164,166 GSF Durham Science Center on the UNO D odge St Campus. The building renovation will update architectural, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems. Building envelope/interior finish and code issues to be addressed in the renovation include new roof, glazing updates, entrance vestibules, canopies, and curtain wall updates, ADA and Life Safety Code compliance modifications, lab updates, along with interior finish and signage/wayfinding updates. MEP system issues to be addressed include air handler replacement, HVAC ductwork updates, lab fume hood replacement, fire dampers and controls, various building plumbing systems updates, sprinkler system modifications, electrical distribution systems, new emergency generator, LED lighting upgrades, data & AV system cabling & equipment updates, and security/card access systems. The Scope of the work is more completely described in the BOR Program Statement Item dated October 25, 2019 and in other documents included in this Request for Qualifications (RFQ).
