Bid Award Panel grant authority to award the contract in accordance with the Contract Details set out in the report (March 6, 2019) from the Chief Purchasing Officer: This tender is for the Pre-Qualified bidders only, RTP No. 3907-14-5088. Mechanical renovation work includes but not limited to: the replacement of roof-top packaged air handling units; the replacement of an indoor fancoil unit complete with a roof-top condenser; the replacement of a roof-top exhaust fan; the replacement of by-pass boxes; air balancing; insulation; BAS work, and other miscellaneous mechanical work as identified on mechanical drawings and specifications. Electrical renovation work includes but not limited to: Providing power for the new equipment, including wiring, conduits, disconnects, starters, etc, as required. Providing 115v/1ph power to new GFI receptacles installed on each new roof-top air handler, from nearest power source inside the building. Obtaining an ESA inspection certificate for all new electrical work. Other miscellaneous electrical work as identified on electrical drawings and specifications. There shall be absolutely no interruptions to the building's power supply during any stage of the work. There are temperature sensitive medical items being stored inside the building which require cold storage. Cooling to the cold storage room is provided by equipment that is not in the scope of this project. This equipment shall remain functional at all times. All work is to decommission, remove existing roof top HVAC units and install new HVAC roof top units as per the drawings.
