Remodeling and renovation of a medical facility in San Antonio, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 22,280-square-foot, 40-bed medical facility.

Project includes replacement of Chillers for Buildings 501 and 513; replacement of electrical panels for Buildings 516, 517, and 518; and replacement of main disconnects for Buildings 501, 505, 512 and 513. Major renovation of an approximately 22,852 sf two story masonry hospital building 521 originally constructed in 1937 as a men’s ward to accommodate a 40-bed forensic unit for psychiatric care for men and women with related nurses stations, offices, conference rooms, medication rooms, group and multipurpose rooms, dining, laundry/ cleaning, support and staff areas. Project includes related site work, demolition, elevator upgrades, ADA upgrades, anti-ligature resistant construction, replace stairs, replace windows, replace roof, fire alarm systems/life safety upgrades, PA intercom system, WiFi access/cabling for telephone/data and communications, and security camera monitoring. Work also includes, Concrete, Masonry, Steel Fabrication, Steel Erection, Millwork, Thermal and Moisture Protection, Openings, Finishes, Specialties, and Equipment. The Owner reserves the right to cancel, make partial award, or decline to award a Contract under this RFP at any time in its sole discretion. Further, the Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Proposals, waive any formalities or minor technical inconsistencies, or delete any item/requirements from this RFP when deemed to be in Owner's best interest. The Owner reserves the right to modify these dates at any time upon notice posted to the ESBD. Any dates listed after the Proposal submission deadline will occur at the discretion of the Owner and may occur earlier or later than scheduled without notification on the ESBD. Owner anticipates evaluation of Proposals, selection of the winning Respondent, and award of the Contract will be completed within approximately 60 days of the Proposal submission deadline
