Federal Aid Project PIN 8761.56 Bridge S-37 Replacement (BIN 3343850) Bulls Head Road (County Route 19) over Little Wappinger Creek, Town of Stanford, Dutchess County This project involves the replacement of an existing jack arch bridge with a new bridge consisting of a NEXT beam superstructure on a cast-in-place abutment, founded on bedrock. The project also includes the horizontal and vertical realignment of approximately 800 LF of CR 19 and 200 LF of Depot Lane. The bid documents are available on a USB Flash Drive. Questions will be accepted by 3:00 PM, Monday, January 14, 2019 and shall be emailed to rpinto@dutchessny.gov and cc'd to gbaressi@dutchessny.gov and dmckenna@dutchessny.gov. The anticipated start of construction is April 15, 2019, the anticipated substantial completion date is September 30, 2019, and the anticipated completion date of construction including all punch list work is November 2, 2019. Failure to meet these dates will result in liquidated damages and engineering charges in accordance with the NYSDOT specifications January 1, 2019. This project is subject to New York State Department of Labor Prevailing Wage Rates PRC # 2018000402 and Federal Davis-Bacon Labor Rates. Dutchess County reserves the right to waive minor informalities in Bids and in bidding and to reject any and all Bids, as best serves the interest of the County There are no Geographical or Residential requirements to bid on this project. Federal requirements prevail unless state or local requirements are more stringent. The winning bidder will be required to complete and submit a NEW YORK STATE VENDOR RESPONSIBILITY QUESTIONNAIRE FOR PROFIT CONSTRUCTION (CCA-2) online; NYSDOT approved CCA-2 is required prior to contract award. The Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goal for this project is 8%. EEO Goals for this project are 6.4% Minority and 6.9% Female There are no MBE or WBE requirements for this project. The winning bidder will be required to use EBO (Equitable Business Opportunity) Bidders are required to submit the completed Non-Collusion forms Bidders are required to submit the completed Lobbying activities form Contract term: 6 Month Contract
