Renovation of a civil project in Bangor, Maine. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The Project consists of replacing the climber screens at the Kenduskeag Pump Station and Bangor Wastewater Treatment Facility, and all associated work as described in the bid documents. This work consists of the furnishing of labor, equipment and materials to replace the existing climber screens at the City of Bangor Kenduskeag Pump Station and at the Headworks Facility at the Bangor WWTF. This work shall include, but is not limited to, channel isolation, demolition of existing climber screen equipment, concrete repair of existing channel, replacement of existing hatch at Kenduskeag Pump Station, relocation of existing fuel oil tanks to new containment area at Kenduskeag Pump Station, furnishing and installation of new screening and washer compactor equipment, new grating, city water and plant water piping systems, fuel oil piping systems at Kenduskeag Pump Station, piping connections; installation of power and wiring for all instrumentation and ancillary equipment needed for the screening and washer compactor system, and testing and start-up of equipment. A bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 5% of Bidders maximum bid price and in the form of a certified check or Bid bond issued by surety meeting the requirements of the General Conditions. No bid may be withdrawn for at least 60 days after receipt of bids unless released by the Owner. For all technical questions regarding this project please email Dan Marks.
