Renovation of a water / sewer project in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The project is located within the Town of Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. The Work takes place in the water treatment plant and generally involves the upgrading of the existing PLC system communications network to Ethernet and adding a second HMI PC workstation. Control system integration of the SCADA system will be performed by "others" with the cooperation of the general contractor and/or panel supplier. The work generally includes, but is not limited to the following: 1 Supply and installation of a new Main PLC control panel. 2 Modifications to the existing plant PLC control panel, Remote Cabinet Rack No.1, Remote Cabinet Rack No. 2, and the Lime System PLC control panel to add Ethernet communications. 3 Supply and installation of new uninterruptible power supplies (UPS). 4 Supply and installation of new power and communications for PLC/HMI systems. 5 All electrical Work as specified in Section 26 05 00, subsection 1.4. Only registered plan takers who obtain the documents at either of these two locations will be permitted to bid on the work.
