Polk County, a political subdivision of the State of Florida, is soliciting bids for the following: BID #19-338, Southwest Regional Utility Service Area (SWRUSA) Inflow and Infiltration Project Phase 1A The work is to provide trenchless rehabilitation of the existing gravity sewer system consisting of 20,722 linear feet of gravity piping using trenchless Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) inversion lining technology. This work shall include the furnishing of all plant, labor, tools, equipment, and materials, and the performing of all operations required for the proper rehabilitation by CIPP lining of the 8- inch, 10-inch, and 12-inch diameter sewers in the subdivisions. The work shall also include sealing of the sanitary sewer lateral connections to these sanitary sewers. The work shall also include repairs and coating of the interior of 34 manholes and installation of benches, drops, or rim adjustments noted. Pipelines to be rehabilitated are in County-owned rights of way and easements through private property and necessitating the Contractor furnish and maintain maintenance of traffic plans conforming to Florida Department of Transportation and Polk County requirements. Qualification Requirements: Licensed General Contractor or Underground Utility Contractor shall have experience with Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP). CIPP Installers must have a minimum of five (5) year of experience with specific product and have installed a minimum of 500,000 linear feet (LF) of piping liner, acceptable sewer CIPP installations, and a minimum of 500 service lateral connections seals of the specific product.
