Type: General Repairs at Watershed The HCFCD Engineer's estimate for this contract is $4,934,305.00 The Project consists of five (5) Project ID's located at the Cypress Creek Watershed (K) in Harris County, Texas. Projects consist of erosion repair, removal and disposal of sediment accumulations, granular fill and riprap installation, pipe removal and replacement. Projects are listed below: K124-002-03-X001 K124-00-00-X043 K124-00-00-X042 K124-00-00-X036 K124-00-00-X014 Project ID K124-02-03-X001 consists of approximately 45 feet of erosion repair, installation of riprap at a pipe outfall approximately 250 feet upstream of Meadow Hill Dr, and removal and disposal of broken concrete slope paving, placement of cement stabilized sand, placement of new concrete slope paving, installation of riprap and the removal and replacement of Metal Beam Guard Fence at the upstream and downstream faces of the Meadow Hill Dr. culvert. Project ID K124-00-00-X043 encompasses two locations. The first consists of the removal a concrete low water crossing, erosion repair of approximately 150 linear feet along both banks of the channel with imported fill, placement of granular fill and installation of riprap approximately 200 linear feet downstream of Rhodes Rd. The second consists of the removal and disposal of existing concrete slope paving, removal and disposal of concrete rubble, excavation and disposal of accumulated sediment, erosion repair of approximately 400 linear feet along the east/north channel bank, placement of imported fill, placement of granular fill, excavation and re-grading of onsite material beginning approximately 1,900 linear feet and ending 1,500 linear feet upstream of Louetta Rd. Project ID K124-00-00-X042 encompasses seven (7) locations. The first location consists of the removal and disposal of concrete rubble, excavation and disposal of accumulated sediment, erosion repair of approximately 375 linear feet along both channel banks, placement of imported fill, placement of granular fill, installation of riprap, excavation and re-grading of onsite material, and installation of backslope drainage swales and backslope interceptor structures beginning approximately 800 linear feet and ending 425 linear feet upstream of Louetta Rd. The second location consists of erosion repair of approximately 160 linear feet along the south channel bank, placement of imported fill, placement of granular fill, and installation of riprap and the removal and replacement of an existing pipe outfall, beginning approximately 100 feet downstream and ending 260 feet downstream of Louetta Rd. The third location consists of erosion repair of approximately 300 linear feet along both banks of K142-00-00 and approximately 150 linear feet along the west bank of K142-02-00 at the confluence of the channels. The work consists of re-grading of existing materials, and installation of riprap, beginning approximately 500 feet downstream and ending 800 feet downstream of Louetta Rd along K124-02-00. The fourth location consists of erosion repair of approximately 400 linear feet along both banks of K142-00-00 and consists of regrading of existing materials, and installation of riprap, beginning approximately 1,100 feet upstream and ending 700 feet upstream of Mirror Lake Dr. The fifth location consists of a spot repair of a washout behind the existing concrete lining of K124-00-00 using flowable fill to fill the void, located approximately 100 feet upstream of Mirror Lake Dr. The sixth location consists of erosion repair of approximately 230 linear feet along the north channel bank, placement of imported fill, placement of granular fill, and installation of riprap, beginning approximately 100 feet downstream and ending 330 feet downstream of Mirror Lake Dr. Project ID K124-00-00-X036 consists of removal of concrete rubble, excavation and disposal of natural soils, re-grading of existing on-site materials, installation of backslope swales, installation of backslope interceptor structures, installation of riprap, installation and maintenance of SWPPP items, beginning approximately 250 linear feet downstream and ending 2,300 linear feet downstream of Cypresswood Dr Project ID K124-00-00-X014 consists of spot repairs of washouts behind the existing concrete lining of K127-00-00 using flowable fill to fill the voids, located approximately 1,150 and 1,250 linear feet upstream of Cypress Springs Dr, along the north bank of the channel.
