Renovation of a laboratory facility in Yuba City, California. Working plans call for the renovation of a laboratory facility.

Upgrade existing Access control hardware to Identiv hardware and existing CCURE 800 Programming to Hirsch/Velocity. This shall include but not be limited to access control panels, readers, input/output boards and replacing underground cables that are not rated for direct burial. There is currently a Hirsch/Velocity server in place so no Server or licenses should be required for this upgrade. All programming will be completed by prospective Vendor. License : C7 or C10 Prerequisites: Prospective Vendors shall be a Certified Identiv dealer/installation Company and have at least Three (3) Velocity certified trained technicians on staff that have been recertified or gone through training within the past Three (3) years. Prospective Vendors shall be in California, located within Twenty Five (25) miles of proposed project and have been in business for more than Five (5) years. Prospective Vendors shall provide a One (1) year warranty on parts and installation on project included in proposed bid. Prospective Vendors shall provide subtotals for all Access Control hardware. 1. Upgrade the existing 11 Software House APC panels to new Identiy Access control panels. 2. Upgrade the existing Altronix power supplies to new updated Altronix Power supplies. 3. Consolidate existing Access control panels and Power supplies to single enclosures when possible. 4. Upgrade existing input output boards throughout the facility of 4800 Broadway to Identiy input output boards. 5. Replace all existing card readers with Identiv uTrust TS readers. Vendor shall replace all existing readers with like Identity readers as some are mullion and others are standard size. 6. Program all existing CCURE 800 hardware, schedules personnel and all other access control data into existing DA Velocity server. All new Data will be programmed by prospective vendor. Vendor shall have access to existing CCURE 800 Database and export needed data local. The existing CCURE system is in closed network and is not accessible from outside the server room of 4800 Broadway. The existing DA Velocity server is only accessible form the DA facility downtown. 7. Replace all cable for Access control and Intercom cables that is ran to remote gate locations that is not rated for underground pathways. Replace with correct underground cables. There are Three (3) gates that have Two (2) Aiphone Intercoms, Two (2) Readers, and Two 18-4 cables for gate relays and Gate contacts at each location. 8. Vendor shall be responsible for all electrical connections relating to Identiy Software House components. The work to be performed under this contract is located at (4800 Broadway, Sacramento CA 95820) includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, transportation and services necessary for the Upgrade of the Access Control System to be located throughout the area Representatives of the County will be present to review the project with the bidders. Plans and drawings will only be made available at the Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference. No contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 [with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under Labor Code section 1771.1(a)]. No contractor or subcontractor may be awarded a contract for public work on a public works project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5. The County of Sacramento received final approval from the Director of California Department of Industrial Relations as a Labor Compliance Program effective March 15, 1994. All questions regarding this Labor Compliance Program and prevailing wage requirements should be directed to the Labor Compliance Section at (916) 875-2711. In accordance with Section 1771.5 of the California Labor Code, the payment of the general prevailing rate of per diem wages or the general prevailing rate of per diem wages for holiday and overtime is not required for any public works project of twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) or less when the project is for construction work, or for any public works project of fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000) or less when the project is for alteration, demolition, repair, or maintenance work. This is a construction/alteration project in accordance with Section 1771.5 of the California Labor Code. Pursuant to California Labor Code Section 1720 and following, and Section 1770 and following, the successful bidder shall pay not less than the prevailing rate of per diem wages as determined by the Director of the California Department of Industrial Relations. Copies of the prevailing wage determinations are on file at the office of the County of Sacramento Labor Compliance Program, 9700 Goethe Road, Suite D, Sacramento, CA 95827. Pursuant to California Contract Code Section 22300, the contractor may, at its own expense, substitute securities for any money being withheld by the County to ensure performance under this contract.
