Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Port Townsend, Washington. Working plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
This project will extend on the south side of Discovery Road from Rainer Street to McClellan Street. The bikeway and sidewalk will run parallel to each other on the same side of the street. Sidewalk will also be constructed on the north side of Discovery Road between Towne Point Avenue and Rosecrans Street. As well, at several locations along the length of the project, enhanced crossings with push button LED signs and crosswalks will be installed. The scope of work additionally includes conceptual design studies for Discovery Road from Mill Road to Sheridan Street. As of December 27, 2022, this project is in design. The owner hopes to put this project out for bid in January, but it may be later. A firm construction timeline has not yet been determined.
