Quebec companies must have a license issued by the Régie du bâtiment du Québec, according to the Building Act ( RLRQ, chapter .B-1.1), covering the required work. This license must be valid at the time of submission. Bids must be accompanied by a bid security, in the form of a bid bond of an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid submitted, valid for a period of sixty (60) days and made to the order or in favor of the municipal housing office of Quebec Bidders will be responsible for the selection of subcontractors for their solvency and the content of their bid and will have to ensure that they hold the required licenses and permits.
