As of 02/11/2019 The project is expected to be awarded on Feb. 20, 2019. The work includes furnishing of all materials and equipment and performance of the following work, per the Plans, Specifications and Contract Documents (PS & CD). The project is located on S. Honey Creek Drive between W. Edgerton Avenue and W. Grange Avenue and W. Grange Avenue between S. Honey Creek Drive and S. 43rd Street. A brief description of the Bid work for the contract includes: Major work items and approximate quantities for which bids are requested include: 16,350 square feet of concrete sidewalk, 110-inch diameter of clearing and grubbing, 520 tons of base aggregate dense, 8 tons HMA pavement, 580 cubic yards of excavation common, 326 linear feet of concrete curb and gutter, 810 linear feet of marking pavement and 4,950 square yards of restoration. Greenfield project 1905. The selected Contractor shall not alter this list without the written consent of the City. The PS & CD require that the selected Contractor and Subcontractor(s) furnish a Certificate of Insurance. Bidders shall submit Bids in a sealed envelope, addressed to City Engineer, City of Greenfield, Wisconsin. Each sealed envelope containing a BID must be plainly marked on the outside as " ELM DALE SCHOOL SIDEWALK PROJECT" and the envelope should bear on the outside the name of the BIDDER, his/her address, and his/her license number if applicable. If forwarded by mail, the sealed envelope containing the BID must be enclosed in another envelope addressed to City Engineer, 7325 West Forest Home Avenue, Greenfield, Wisconsin 53220. All bids shall be submitted on the bidding forms provided in the Contract Documents. Bidders should pay attention to the requirements for Bid signatures, as set forth in Bid Security. Bidders may not withdraw their Bids within the 90-day period after the date of the Bid Opening. The City will only consider Bids from Bidders who accompany them with a Bid Bond, payable to the City of Greenfield, in the amount equal to 5 percent of the Bid. This requirement serves to guarantee that, if the City accepts the Bid, the selected Contractor will execute and deliver the proper Contract Agreement and Bonds within g 15 calendar days after the Notice of Award by the City.
