Renovation of an educational facility in Santa Rosa, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

The Contractor and his Subcontractors shall furnish all labor, materials, installation of Owner furnished materials, equipment, transportation, supervision, permits and incidentals required to safely and legally perform the work for the Santa Rosa Junior College, BLDG 500 Re-Roof & HVAC Re-Roofing project including, but not limited to: 1. Demolition of existing roof system and associated underlayment. 2. Removal and re-installation of all existing HVAC and related venting. 3. Replacement of existing areas of wood roof deck as required. 4. Installation of new roofing and associated accessories. 5. Installation of new coping caps for all parapets on the building. 6. Installation of new gutters & downspouts. 7. Painting as required. This is an Invitation to Bid for the PSTC Bldg. 500 Roofing and HVAC Project. This project requires license B - General (Must be Certified Pre-Approved Garland Contractor prior to submitting bid). These are the only forms of notification authorized by the college district. Sonoma County Junior College shall not be responsible for receipt of notification and information received from any other source other than those listed. It shall be the vendors responsibility to verify the validity of all bid information received by sources other than those listed. Time of completion for this project is Sixty (60) days from NTP and Liquidated damages are $500 per day. Vendor technical questions must be submitted via email to Bennett Martin at bmartin@strataap.com of STRATA Architects. if an addendum is required it will be issued no later than January 14, 2019. The Bidders Bond executed by a surety licensed to do business in the State of California as a surety, made payable to the District, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the maximum amount of the bid must be attached to the vendors response. The successful bidder shall comply with the provisions of the Labor Code pertaining to payment of the generally prevailing rate of wages and apprenticeships or other training programs. The Department of Industrial Relations has made available the general prevailing rate of per diem wages in the locality in which the work is to be performed for each craft, classification or type of worker needed to execute the contract, including employer payments for health and welfare, pension, vacation, apprenticeship and similar purposes. The Contractor and all Subcontractors shall pay not less than the specified rates to all workers employed by them in the execution of the Contract. It is the Contractor's responsibility to determine any rate change. The schedule of per diem wages is based upon a working day of eight hours. The rate for holiday and overtime work shall be at least time and one half. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening for bids except as provided by Public Contract Code 5100 et seq. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding. The project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the California Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code 1725.5 and 1770 et seq. In accordance with Labor Code 1725.5 and 1770 et seq., all bidders, contractors and subcontractors working at the site shall be duly registered with the Department of Industrial Relations at time of bid opening and at all relevant times. Proof of registration must be available upon request prior to the commencement of any work. Each bidder shall possess at the time the bid is awarded the appropriate classification under the California State Contractors licensing Board. In the event the Governing Board deems that the Project is substantially complex a retention amount will be required in an amount as allowed by California law. *As of January 21, 2019, no changes have been made to the bid date and two addenda have been released.
