Failure to submit a Bid through HRSD Online Oracle ERP system prior to the due date and time will be cause for rejection by HRSD. Procedures for submitting a Bid, claiming an error, withdrawing of Bids and other pertinent information are contained in the Instructions to Bidders. HRSD reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, waive any informalities, or negotiate with the low bidder as described in the Instructions to Bidders. CONTRACTOR registration in accordance with Title 2.2, Chapter 43 and Title 54.1, Chapter 11, Code of Virginia is required. The Project or Work consists of furnishing all labor, material, and equipment for the installation of a new mechanically cleaned influent screen, washer compactor, all ancillary equipment and components, and modifications to existing facilities. The construction is located in the existing Preliminary Treatment Facility. Modifications to existing facilities include, but are not limited to non-potable water system modifications, odorous air ducting modifications, electrical and instrumentation modifications, and equipment access platform construction. A Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid shall be submitted electronically with each Bid.
