Counties of Kent, and Washington, City of Warwick and the Town of North Kingstown, Rhode Island, for Statewide Bridge Repairs Contract 4, The work under this contract shall consist of, but not be limited to, Steel Beam/Girder Repairs; Temporary Jacking and Shoring of Beams/Girders; Removal and Disposal of Portions of Existing Reinforced Concrete Superstructure and Substructure; Constructing New Reinforced Concrete Beam Seats, Deck Slabs, Backwalls,Approach Slabs, and Parapets; Repainting Existing Structural Steel: Bearing Replacement; Joint Replacement; Structural Concrete Masonry Repairs; Installation of Waterproofing Membrane; Installation and Removal of Temporary Shielding; Removal and Disposal of Existing Bituminous Pavement; Installation of New Bituminous Pavement; Striping; Seeding; Maintenance and Protection of Traffic; and all other incidentals necessary to complete the work under this Contract, The Contractor will be required. in avordance with the provisions of the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Affirmative Action Certification for Contractors and Consultants, to meet the established Race-Conscious Goal, or Contract Coal, of not less than 10.00 percent of the contract bid price, to the Contractors, Subcontractors, and/or suppliers which qualify as Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE's).
