The Work to be performed under this Contract consists of rehabilitation of a 96-inch diameter reinforced concrete pipe damaged by the effects of hydrogen sulfide gas. The work of this Contract includes: shoring and excavation, interceptor flow meter installation and removal, installation, operation, and removal of a sewage bypass pumping and piping system, rehabilitation of approx. 3,700 linear feet of reinforced concrete pipe, rehabilitation of eight maintenance holes, pavement demolition and restoration, landscape restoration, and all other work as defined in the Contract Documents Subcontracting Opportunities: Site work/excavation, traffic control, sewage bypass, pipe lining, and concrete restoration. Apprenticeship Requirements: 15% minimum Apprentice Utilization Requirement. SCS Utilization Requirements. 8% minimum requirement for King County Certified Small Contractors and Suppliers (SCS). Permits and Easements: King County has applied for, but as of the date of advertisement, has not received all of the permits and easements listed in Section 01 41 26, 1.02 and 1.03 of the Contract Document. If these permits are received during the bidding period, they will be issued by Addendum. If the County has not received all of the permits listed by the bid opening date, the County will evaluate whether to extend the bid opening, cancel the procurement or open bids. Award and execution of this Contract is conditional upon the County receiving all permits and easements listed in Section 01 41 26, 1.02 and 1.03.
