The project site is at the existing wastewater treatment facility of the City of Canyonville in Douglas County, Oregon. The WWTP is located on Hamlin Drive in Canyonville, Oregon, and is east of Canyon Creek and South of the South Umpqua River. The land to the southwest is residential. Seven Feathers Casino, which resides on the Cow Creek Band of Umpqua Tribe of Indians Reservation, is located across Canyon Creek.
