Pre-Bid Meeting Information: A Pre-Bid conference will not be held. The scope of WORK generally consists of furnishing all labor and materials required to make Coating Rehabilitations and Upgrades to the existing 1 Million Gallon Storage Tanks. The WORK at Both Tanks are described for each Bid Schedule Below: Bid Schedule No. 1: North Tank work shall include removing and recoating the entire interior coating of the tank. The exterior of the tank shall be power washed and over-coated. The interior of the tank shall include all welding, grinding, IBeam replacement, and the addition of sealant where deemed necessary by the Owner's Representative. Installation of a cathodic protection system and reconnection of an (Owner supplied) Model B12 SolarBee Mixer thru a side port on the tank. Removal of the existing Tank Mixer conduit and cable on the roof and side wall of the tank. Additional items to install are new frost-free vent, a tank ladder from the foundation to existing ladder, and 2" couplers on the roof for future maintenance work. Replace all side access manway gaskets. Bid Schedule No. 2: South Tank work shall include removing and recoating the entire interior coating of the tank. The exterior of the tank shall have only spot repairs to corrosion areas or burn areas. The interior of the tank shall include all welding, grinding, I-Beam replacement, and the addition of sealant where deemed necessary by the owner's representative. Installation of a cathodic protection system and installation of a (contractor supplied) Model B12 SolarBee Mixer thru a side port of the tank. Additional items to install are new frost-free vent, tank ladder from the foundation to existing ladder, and 2" couplers on the roof for future maintenance work. Replace all side access manway gaskets. The Project is located in Watford City, North Dakota. All Bids must be made on the "Bid Form" included as part of these documents. Each BID must be accompanied by a separate envelope containing a copy of a current and valid North Dakota Contractor's License (must have been issued at least 10 calendar days before the date of Bid opening). The Owner reserves the right to hold all bids for a period of 61 days after the date fixed for the opening thereof, and to reject any or all bids, and to award the Contract, if awarded, to the Contractor with the Bid that is determined to be in the best interest and most advantageous to the Owner.
