Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Toronto, Ontario. Design plans call for the construction of a 695,435-square-foot, 34-story above grade, 970-unit multi-residential development; and 30,000-square-foot retail development.
Construct a mixed-use development at the southeast corner of Don Mills Road and Eglinton Avenue East. The project will proceed on a site that is currently used as a surface parking lot by the Ontario Science Centre. The scope of work will include 1,407 condo suites in three residential buildings with heights of 28, 43 and 52-storeys above a retail podium 92,106 square meters of residential gross floor area: 2,915 square meters of non-residential gross floor area. The project will also include 35,000 square feet of new public parkland; 51,000 square feet of privately-owned public spaces and other public spaces; and a new public street. TIMELINE: Rezoning was approved for this site in summer, 2022. Preliminary design is underway; working drawings schedules are anticipated late 2023 pending approvals. A Request For Proposals for developers will is expected Q4 2024. Further tender and construction timing will be determined mid-2025 by the awarded developer.
