Site work for a residential development in New Orleans, Louisiana. Completed plans call for site work for a residential development.

The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: 1. General Contract for 1501 St. Louis site preparation within the site. The Project is generally bounded by, St. Louis St., North Villere St., Marais St., and the Lafitte Greenway in New Orleans, Louisiana. 2. Scope of work includes all work required for the construction of an approximately 20,000 sf building pad including (without limitation): the addition of new soil to raise the building pad, pile removal as required for future foundations and utility connections, parking and sidewalk area preparation including earthwork and pile removal to achieve preparatory grades as required for future parking and sidewalk areas, and approximately 970 lf of trenching and pile removal for future storm water retention system and utility connections. Also included in the scope is all work necessary to complete the Voluntary Remedial Action Plan per Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality requirements (soil cap) for the entire project, and all other work required by the Contract Documents in connection with the total redevelopment of the Winn Dixie Phase I projecct. This project is being financed by HANO with federal funds and is subject to Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) requirements for Public Housing Authorities (PHA), including Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968. The project shall be awarded only to contractors who are licensed under State of Louisiana Contractors License Law La. R.S. 37:2150-2192 with a major classification in Heavy Construction. Sealed bids for the 1501 St. Louis Site Preparation The Project Architect will accept questions from interested bidders through February 4, 2019. Responses to all questions will be provided via addendum to all registered bidders. Questions shall be submitted to: Greg Drewes, Architect HCI Architecture, Inc. gdrewes@hriproperties.com The owners reserves the right to reject any or all bids for just cause and to waive any informalities in the bid process if it is in the public interest to do so. Each bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Security for not more than five percent (5%) of the contract price of work to be done, and performance and payment bonds will be required, each in an amount equal to one hundred (100) percent of the Contract Sum. The bidder must place on the outside of the envelope in the upper, left-hand corner the following when submitting their bid: Contractor's Name and Address Project Name and IFB Number Louisiana State Contractor's License Number Date and Time bids are due All prime bidders must present their company name, State of Louisiana Contractors License Number, company representative name, phone number, fax number and email address prior to receipt of bid documents and notification of addenda, if any. All bids received by the due date and time will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Conference Room of the Project Architects.
