Site work and new construction of a transportation facility in Iqaluit, Nunavut. Completed plans call for the construction of a 26,910-square-foot, one-story above grade transportation facility; and for site work for a transportation facility.
Public Works & Government Services Canada (PWGSC) on behalf of Transport Canada (TC) requires the construction of an Aircraft Hangar facility in Iqaluit, Nunavut. The hangar is being completed as part of the National Aerial Surveillance Program (NASP) providing a space for fixed surveillance aircraft for the Prairie and Northern region. The new NASP Aircraft Hangar will provide for a total of >2,500 m2 (gross area) of space for aircraft storage and maintenance, storage, grounds operations, and offices. "This procurement is subject to: Agreement Between the Inuit of the Nunavut Settlement Area and His Majesty the King in Right of Canada (Nunavut Directive)".
