The Department of Transportation (DOT), Airports Division seeks the services of qualified general engineering firms to provide construction management for Runway 2-20 Improvements, Kahului Airport, State . In accordance with Section 103D-304, HRS, the Department of Transportation (DOT), Airports Division seeks the services of qualified general engineering firms to provide construction management for Runway 2-20 Improvements, Kahului Airport, State Project No. AM1022-20R. These services are anticipated to be immediately required and will have a contract time of performance of approximately One Thousand Eight Hundred Twenty-Five (1,825) calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. In accordance with Section 3-122-140, HAR, this contract will be a time and materials contract. The project scope is to provide construction management (CM) services to repair the existing 7,000-foot asphalt runway with concrete, and for a 1,530-foot extension for the existing 7,000-foot runway along with parallel taxiways. The construction management firm is expected to conduct a constructability review during design. The construction management staff is expected to have certifications by Airport Council International or International Civil Aviation Organization in Safety Management Systems. Also included in the scope are CM services for an additional parallel runway and parallel taxiway. Scope shall also include the necessary support for the design and EIS consultants, etc. The estimated construction cost is $390,000,000.
