The Project consists of system wide rehabilitation of the sanitary sewer system consisting of the following approximate major quantities of work: 1. Isolated Service Tap Repairs (Depth Varies) - 330 EA 2. 8" Diam. Sewer Main 10' Point Repair (Depth Varies) - 112 EA 3. 8" Diam. Sewer Main CIPP/Fold & Form Liner - 42,738 LF 4. Manhole Cementitious Lining - 1,051 VF PreBid Date: Not furnished A pre-bid conference will not be held for this project. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Contract Documents will be shipped only if the requesting party assumes responsibility for all related shipping charges. Corporate, certified, or cashier's checks shall be made payable to Drexel Technologies. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 5% percent of Bidder's maximum Bid price (determined by adding the base bid and all alternates) and in the form of a certified check, bank money order, or a Bid bond (on the form included in the Bidding Documents) issued by a surety meeting the requirements. Default of Bidder shall occur upon the failure of Bidder to deliver within the time required by the Bidding Documents (or any extension thereof agreed to in writing by Owner) the executed Agreement required by the Bidding Documents and any performance and payment bonds required by the Bidding Document. Engineer on all questions arising under the contract as to materials and workmanship, or as to interpretations of the drawings and specifications, shall be final and binding upon all parties to the contract. The Notice to Proceed shall be issued no later than April 15th, 2019 Engineer has the authority to determine whether Work is defective,and to reject defective Work.
