The Rockford Park District invites you to submit a bid to complete the Sinnissippi Rose Garden Slope Improvements. Work includes: selective site demolition and salvaging existing materials, removal of the overgrown vegetation, new concrete flatwork, construction of dry laid stone walls using new and salvaged materials, construction of brick paver patios using salvaged materials, new storm drainage, and new landscape plantings. Note: all prospective bidders/respondents are hereby cautioned not to contact any member of the rockford park district staff or officials other than the specified contact person. The Rockford Park District reserves the unrestricted right to reject any or all bids/proposals received, to waive or not to waive any informality, or to accept the bid/proposal considered to be in the best interest of the Park District. The Rockford Park District honors prevailing wages to be paid as stipulated by Ordinance 2018-O-08. If applicable, the awarded Contractor, including subcontractors, is required to comply with all provisions of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, including the payment of wages and fringe benefits as required by law, and the submission of certified payroll transcripts. Please submit the bid on the enclosed Bid Offer Form and return in a "Sealed Bid" envelope showing the bid number, date and time of opening in the lower left-hand corner of the return envelope. Failure to include the bid offer form properly completed and signed will result in the submission being rejected.
