Renovation of a parking garage in Glen Cove, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a parking garage.
The Brewster Street Parking Garage is comprised of North and South Wings connected with ramps, stair wells and elevators. Each wing includes three levels of covered parking and an open roof as well. LiRo Engineer's, Inc. staff performed a comprehensive visual inspection of structural components in order to identify the structural defects and prioritize the repair methodology. Mechanical and Electrical systems within the parking garage were not assessed. No testing was performed on materials or structural system. All quantities marked on plans are intended to provide the City of Glen Cove with relevant information to determine the scope of present structural maintenance requirements. Standard details are included in the Bidding Documents to show the extent and steps involved in repairs required.
