This project is funded in whole or in part by the Kansas Department of Commerce CDBG program Associated certifications and the completion of other documents will be required for the successful completion of the project. All bidders are required to comply with Local, State, and Federal regulations as stated in the bid documents. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and Federal prevailing wage rates to be paid under the contract, Section 3 of the 1968 Housing Act, Segregated Facility, Section 109 and the 1984 Housing and Community Development Act and Executive Order 11246, Housing and Community Development Act of 1964 and the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Separate sealed BIDS for the water line improvements including approximately 600 LF of 2", 18,500 LF of 4", 1,900 LF of 6" and 3,300 LF of 8" PVC water mains, fifty four (54) 2", 4", 6" and 8" gate valves, 28 fire hydrants, reconnection of existing water services, connections to existing mains, miscellaneous street repairs and appurtenances Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis as indicated on the Bid Form. The project boundaries begin going east from the comer of 15th St and N St, north on Q St to 14th St, east 14th St stopping at the city limits andgoing south to 16th St, west on 16th St, south on S St, west on 21st St, south on P St, west on 27th St, and north on N St back to 15th St (back to the starting point). The project will also include G St between 18th St and 23rd St.
