Renovation of a mixed-use development in Cumming, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a theater / auditorium.
*As of April 5, 2019, a general contractor has been awarded. Construction is expected to start in June of 2019. The Project will be awarded by base bid. All interested parties are invited to attend. Forsyth Central High School, North Forsyth High School and South Forsyth High School Performing Arts Center Renovations, Forsyth County and as more particularly set forth in the Bidding Documents. Locations : North Forsyth High School : 3635 Coal Mountain Drive, Cumming, Ga 30028 Forsyth Central High School : 131 Almon C. Hill Drive, Cumming, Ga 30040 South Forsyth High School : 585 Peachtree Parkway, Cumming, Ga 30041 The Design Professional for the Project is Clark Patterson Lee, 615 Molly Lane, Suite 100, Woodstock, GA 30089. Bidders may register and obtain electronic bidding documents from Clark Patterson Lee (CPL) for no charge. Email your request to Lori Brothers, LBrothers@CPLteam.com A share file link for accessing PDF's of the bid documents will be emailed to you as soon as possible. Documents will only be issued to General Contractors. Only a bid submitted by a Bidder 1.) on record with the Architect as having received plans and specifications from the Architect; 2.) attended the mandatory Pre-Bid Conference; 3.) visited the three sites; and 4.) submitted an AIA Form A305 without disqualification will be opened. All anticipated federal, state and local permits required for the Project have not been obtained. Required permits are anticipated on or before a date to be determined. All rights of way and easements anticipated for the Project have been obtained. The Contract, if awarded, will be on a lump sum basis by base bid. No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after Bid opening, except as otherwise expressly provided by applicable law. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Base Bid. Use the form in Appendix A for Section 00 3100 Bid Form. Both a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond will be required in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price. Use the forms in Appendix B for Section 00 3100 Bid Form. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, and to waive technicalities and informalities. Sign in sheets will be distributed. Bidders must submit their A305 form at the mandatory Pre-Bid Conference.
