Bidders may register and obtain electronic bidding documents from Clark Patterson Lee (CPL) for no charge. Documents will only be issued to General Contractors. Only a bid submitted by a Bidder 1.) on record with the Architect as having received plans and specifications from the Architect; 2.) attended the mandatory Pre-Bid Conference; 3.) visited the three sites; and 4.) submitted an AIA Form A305 without disqualification will be opened. All anticipated federal, state and local permits required for the Project have not been obtained. Required permits are anticipated on or before a date to be determined. All rights of way and easements anticipated for the Project have been obtained. The Contract, if awarded, will be on a lump sum basis by base bid. No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after Bid opening, except as otherwise expressly provided by applicable law. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Base Bid. Use the form in Appendix A for Section 00 3100 Bid Form. Both a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond will be required in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price. Use the forms in Appendix B for Section 00 3100 Bid Form. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, and to waive technicalities and informalities. Sign in sheets will be distributed.
